This was our third cruise with Thompson, two were with the Majesty and this one on the Spirit and we have not experienced anything that would make us change our choice for this cruise line. Everything from embarkation to disembarkation has always gone smoothly with friendly helpful staff. Both ships have everything we needed to meet our needs. The Spirit even exceeded our expectation with the entertainment team as this included two very good plays during the day as well as the evening entertainment which was very good indeed and a daytime lecture. We booked excursions on the Majesty as we were in the canaries and the med but this one was around the British Isles stopping off in Ireland and the Orkneys so we did our own excursions. But the excursions we went on with the Majesty were excellent and very informative. We were pleasantly surprised with our cabin on the Spirit as we had tea and coffee making facilities and it was larger than we expected. Dining on the Spirit was easy. We always used the self service restaurant. Food was excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. We like the smaller cruise ships as you make some good friends and you are able to meet them as you go around the ship. It is very much like a home from home.

Cabin Review

Spacious and with tea and coffee making facilities. Although an inside cabin with no sea view this didn't bother us as we only used the cabin for sleeping. Deck 2 was also very peaceful.
