Overall experience was better on this cruise. Though the lack of info when trying to in process was unacceptable, took 4-5 hrs to get thru the terminal as there had been a gas leak or something which caused a delay in folks getting off the cruise & a much longer delay for those trying to get on.
Thought the prices of the execursions was way too high considering you didn't get much out of them. For the dolphin/marine life/sting ray experience, paid $160 per person - got about 10-15 minutes with a dolphin (felt like an assembly line, get in get out & $120 for the picture packet - higway robbery), no marine life, & an hour wait to get to the sting rays - the experience with the sting rays was AMAZING!! It wasn't worth $99 for the Mayan Ruins. The Jamacian experience, no AC in the bus, sight tour showed a local high school, two statues then on to the Falls which for folks who couldn't do the actual falls was a big waste of money & a 4-5 hr wait in extreme hot sunshine while others tried to do the falls, this resulted in a late, rushed lunch - restaurant where lunch was served was dirty, wasn't able to devated from the "meal & drinks". The Bahamas experience was also amazing, the guys on the ECO boot tour explained a lot, even brought up creatures from the sea for folks to touch, handle & gave a description of each creature & only $15 for the picture packet plus bonus disk - only problem was the boot wasn't a glass bottom boot as detailed in the description. Meals in the cafetaria were tasty & varied, even got great service from the young lady at the dessert section. Theater shows were very entertaining. The $12 per person per day charge after having to pay a 7% service fee for each transaction was too much.
Also had a problem with the lack of ladies restrooms on the upper decks - crew also had issues trying to keep them clean especially in & around the pool & restaurant areas.
Room was good, service from the house cleaning staff was excellent, very clean, made us feel right at home.
