We have just returned from a fantastic holiday on the epic. We were spoilt rotten the whole week. Staff were very friendly. The staterooms were lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean.

The staff work incredibly hard. Have your cabins turned down at night when you get back you have a towel animal on your bed with your freestyle daily that tells you what son the next day and some information on the ports. the toilet and shower in the rooms seemed to be an issue when we read the reviews but we dint find this the case. We read a lot of reviews before we went but found a lot of them just being picky. The alcoholic drinks were not that expensive, but we purchased soda packages for 2 adults and our 3 children, in reflection we would only purchase them for the kids as there are plenty of free drinks to choose from. He service in the complimentary resturants is quick but you can ask for te service to slow down. We would highly recommend taste for the complimentary resturants

And le bistro which you pay a surcharge for but it was absolutely amazing. If you go to le bistro start with the French 75 cocktail it's amazing. A definately must see is the blue man group, it was brilliant we all enjoyed the performance and the meet and greet afterwards. If you are a fan of cake boss then a visit to the atrium cafe is a must as its a cake boss coffee area. We ordered a big cake for our daughter prior to going for her exams and it was delivered to our state room when requested and she was thrilled. It was stunning. The giant wii is great for the kids too while you sit and indulge in coffee and cake. Our favourite bar was shakers nice an relaxing but stylish. The ice ar is a must too although a bit pricey to go in but you do get 2 drinks when in there. Children can go in as well but wrap up and don't wear flip flop!!!!!!!!. The jewellery shop is lovely and they have lots of free prize draws but Cyprus u have to be there to win it. The art exhibitions are fantastic but very expensive. Getting on and off the ship when in port was easy. Naples is a must and is walkable from the port. Rome and Livorno you have to get a shuttle from the ship which you pay for. A tender takes you to Cannes where you have an allotted time to leave the ship but can return anytime. Palma is walkable although the small little town we found was just some shops and the walk along the harbour was long and no where to stop for a drink. The best thing to do is get a taxi. The cathedral in Palma is what most people get off to see but it doesn't open on a Saturday afternoon which is when we had arrived in Palma. On board The swimming pools are small but the slides make up for it. It was very busy on our sea day but on the docked days it was easy to get sun beds and very little queues for the slides. We had an absolutely amazing time and would definately book another cruise on the epic, we have no complaints embarkation and disembarkation were effortless. The whole cruise was great value for money exceptionally clean and just the most wonderful holiday.

Cabin Review

Lovely room. Huge bed and good sofa bed for our youngest. Immaculately clean, plenty of space in wardrobes but we did store our suitcases out on the balcony but there is room underneath the bed. No noise an great views would try and request same cabin again
