This Grand Voyage comprised three back to back cruises starting at Tower Bridge,London and ending inSouthampton ,The first and third cruises were full with the middle cruise 50 below capacity.

ACTIVITIES....The usual Trivia which we do not attend.Destination Lecturer Peter Crimes who was excellent and informative,another lecturer on outer space who was dreadful.Think there was a Liars Club won by a couple from Aukland,NZ.

SERVICE.....Waiter service at all venues was excellent.Wine waiter service and bar service at all venues also excellent.Pool deck staff excellent despite the major complaint on all 3 cruises,the 'heated' swimming pool.Having previously done 71 cruises on Silversea one of our favourite activities has been a pre breakfast swim at 8am.The pool was available at this time on only 6 occasions to swim in if you could stand the cold 'heated' pool.We reported our disappointment to the Hotel Director at a face to face meeting on day four and we were told there had been a problem but the rest of our cruise (24 days) it would be ready for use at 7.30 am.This information turned out to be true on only 3 more days of our GRAND voyage.The HD dept was lacking on many issues on the pool deck 8 and the walking deck 9 which we had never experienced before....eg the pool deck clock was 6 hours adrift until we informed HD and it was made correct on day 21 of our 28 day cruise.The HD was the only downside of a wonderful cruise,Gianni Dotti get well soon and return the Silver Cloud to normal service.
