We departed from East Midlands Airport and arrived in Palma on time after a pleasant flight, the transfer was smooth and quick and we arrived at the port after a 20 minuite coach journey. Check in at embarkation was quick and efficient and we boarded the Dream around 2-00 pm which was where we hit our first snag. Instead of being shown to our cabin 6070 as usual we were escorted to the even number corridor and told that our cabin was down there, on finding and entering the cabin we observed that the beds had not been made and dirty towels were lying on the bathroom floor, we eventually found a cabin steward who apologised and said he would get someone to clean the cabin for us. We exited the cabin and went for a drink and a meal, after 2 hours we returned and the cabin had been cleaned. The cabin was spacious and for three people fairly comfortable.

We mostly ate breakfast and dinner in the Orion restaurant, the food was very good at all meals, and I must commend our waiters who served us every night, Noel and his assistant Charles went above and beyond the call of duty, also Richard our wine waiter who always appeared when our glasses needed topping up.

The entertainment overall was good, the show team in the Broadway show lounge worked very hard and put on some excellant shows, my favourite which I had not seen before was the pirate theme one, and the guy who played Jack Spade (Jack Sparrow) deserves an oscar for his portrayal of Jack Sparrow of pirates of the Caribbean fame.

Cabin Review

Cabin inside plus.

The cabin 6070 an inside plus was spacious and adequate for the 3 people using it.
