We are just back from the August 31st cruise from Bayonne to Bermuda. We were disappointed by the lack of pampering attention in Concierge class - no chocolate buffets, no Baked Alaska parades, no nightly towel art, no throw-away slippers, no fresh cut flowers, and the in-room fruit basket was three scabby green apples on a plate. We searched everywhere for a banana. Charging $5.00 a bottle for water was really tacky. I also missed the mini chocolates on the pillows at night.

The hull was badly painted, rust was showing through, and the decks and windows needed swabbing. There was crazy loud music, inappropriate for dining in the Cosmopolitan. We loved the live music in the rendezvous bar, but bumping it for toilet paper unrolling and sexual innuendo games was entirely offensive - especially in our formal outfits. No wonder it was difficult to get volunteers.

The only redeeming feature was some (not all) service staff. Captain Leo made an inappropriate joke "You get what you pay for." Maybe we did, but I expected better. Next time back to gathering cruise points on Holland America or Oceana

Cabin Review

Cabin AC

Shower heads and posts needed to be replaced. Discolored bathroom sink, fixtures, and mirror. Dirty veranda. Sporadic remote. No nightly towel art and no chocolates for turn down. 3 scabby old apples on a plate for fruit. Tacky $5.00 charge for drinking water. No flowers.
