CocoCay wasn't too great as far as private islands go. Small, not too pretty. RC is stingy with their towels which I don't get (it's their island….just bring the towels back or keep a stock there…why make us "check them out" and bring them back. Water was hard to find in the AM hours. Coral was dead and beach was rocky and crowded. BBQ was gross (not enough seats, food was bland, and there was trash everywhere). I've heard you can hike to the other side of the island and find less crowded beaches, but we couldn't do that because my friend had a hurt foot. Overall it was just OK.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Loved it! As far as I'm concerned, Atlantis is the only thing worth getting off the boat for in Nassau. The grounds are lovely. Tons of garden areas, lagoons with fish and sea creatures, the dig is really neat, and the water park is AMAZING. I loved the slides (and I've been to many water parks living in Central Florida). These slides were very thrilling. The lazy river was the best though…it wasn't too lazy at all with the rapids. It was just a really nice day overall. The excision was really just admission and transportation. The boarding process did a take a little long, but not too bad. Coming back we did have to spend over 30 minutes sitting on the bus waiting for more passengers to come which was annoying. But I'd do again in a heart beat. Tip: Wait till your onboard to book. It dropped from $169 (pre-boarding price) to $129. 

Pros: -We were fairly close to elevators. -It was quite, other than the hum of the engine (which didn't bother me…almost lulled me to sleep). -Very close to where we disembark. -Quick elevator ride up to the dining room. -Great attendant. Cons: -The window was a divided window, not like the big ocean view one you see in the pictures (this is true for all windows on the second floor, third and up are OK). Doesn't make for as nice of a view. -Room was dated and cramped. Beds aren't that comfortable. -Window was dirty and rusted. -Pretty far down.-Toilet had issues flushing sometimes. 

Pros:
-Entertainment was great - best I've seen on cruise so far
-Decent food at dinner time, some very good
-Very friendly staff, nice servers…everyone is very good at remembering your name/stateroom, and preferences.I'll try RC one more time because the entertainment was good, but on a newer ship, and a longer cruise (hopefully eliminating some of the more unsavory partiers).
