Had an excursion planned, but cancelled due to weather.Beautiful scenery, but painfully lame and boring town. Nothing but Jewelry shops, and other tourist traps.

Skagway

Awesome scenery, but endless tourist traps in downtown. The tram up to Mt. Roberts is a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it. There are some neat trails on top.

Juneau

Another Tourist trap town...However, I highly recommend hitting some of the local trails. We saw thousands of salmon swimming upstream. It was really awesome.

Ketchikan

Amazing. Astounding. The only excellent stop on this cruise. Beautiful scenery and architecture. Tons of interesting local businesses. Awesome food. Everything about this place was magical.

Victoria

My recommendation for anyone considering an Alaskan cruise:
Fly to Alaska.- If you have a food allergy or lactose intolerance DO NOT CRUISE WITH CARNIVAL.
