As a first time Celebrity cruiser, we had heard that Celebrity was a step up from other cruise lines. We were therefore expecting something more. Well, expectations were quickly dashed.

While the ship itself was well maintained and kept very clean, the rest was very disappointing. To begin, it has to be the noisiest ship or vehicle I have EVER been on. It sounded like there was construction going on next to our cabin every morning at around 7-9:00 am that shook the entire cabin. When we complained, we were told that they would have to be there at the time it occurred so they could verify the sound. Really?? My word wasn't good enough? I was making this up??!!

As for the food: mediocre at best as others have said. Frequent repeats, hot items were cold or lukewarm. Getting service in the buffet was impossible. Need a cup of coffee or anything else? Get it yourself or you'd still be waiting. Service generally on this cruise was substandard. Our cabin steward "forgot" to make up our cabin...TWICE! In each case, we had to go looking for him.

Cabin Review

Cabin 9

A regular cabin. Not much new or different other than an extremely noisy room. My STRONG suggestion: if the only option you have is deck two, DON'T GO!!!!
