Sail Date: Aug 2014
Traveled with children

Our first Disney cruise was in 1999 on the Magic for a family reunion. We booked the Fantasy for Aug/Sept 2014 to celebrate our first granddaughters 5th birthday. Grandpa, grandma, mom and birthday girl. Dad stayed home with grandbaby #2. Caribbean was our destination.

There is nothing about a Disney cruise that warrants a complaint. Disney knows how to treat a 5 year old Princess. The ship is awesome. Tailored to children, families and adults equally. OK maybe more to kids and parents....but the adult-only activities and areas rival and surpass anything on a regular cruise ship.

There were more princesses per square inch on this cruise and each was made to feel special. We treated our birthday girl to a princess makeover at the Bibidy Bobidy Boutique. She became Queen Elsa from Frozen for that evening.

Cabin Review

Cabin 5B

We had 8076 cabin which had a veranda. We were very close to the elevators and stairs midsection. I highly recommend this set ofcabins. We were 3/4 levels between the pool/lunch area on 11 and the evening meal/activity level on 4/5 so it was walkable (for those who want to loose weight on a cruise!). The room was spacious for four people and the balcony was a great respite to sit and read during sea time.
