My husband and I had been looking forward to this cruise to Bermuda because we honeymooned there almost 44 years ago. Along with 3 other couples we found this RCI cruise and booked. It was a good deal and we hadn't been on a cruise for awhile.

Getting on the ship was a piece of cake. It was the first time we sailed through customs and didn't have to wait in long lines. Since we were early, we walked around the ship getting our bearings and checking out what our temporary home had available. When we were able to go to our cabins, our luggage was waiting for us. We always chose the interior rooms since we don't spend much time in our rooms except to bathe and sleep. It was a very small room with an even smaller bathroom. While putting my stuff away in the bathroom I noticed that there wasn't any shampoo or conditioner. We found out we had to request it! Who ever heard of having to request shampoo and conditioner! They finally arrived 2 days later. The way they have the room configured, one person has to climb into the bed from the front of the bed because there isn't enough room (no matter how skinny you might be) to get to the side of the bed with the TV and desk being in the way. Good thing I'm in pretty good shape! I can't imagine an elderly person being able to do that. Of course, we could have had the beds separated, but at the time, I didn't want to put anyone out of their way.

We had chosen anytime dining because our fellow passages wanted it. We usually like an early timed seating, at the same table every night. Unfortunately, we couldn't get into MY Time for quite some time so we decided to go to the Windjammer to eat. Well, they didn't open until 6:30, so we had to wait an hour before we could eat. Other cruise lines have a dedicated buffet open all hours of the day and night. After 2 full days with another couple trying to get an early seating at My Time, we finally got our table #221 every evening at 5:15. The food and selection wasn't anything to brag about. It was ample but most items were tasteless. Very disappointing. The only thing we did enjoy was the chicken cordon blue, and lobster night, even though it was quite small. The pizza and cookies in the Solarium (Park Café), were yummy.

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

Very small, even though it was the "large" interior stateroom. I had to crawl into bed every night from the front of the bed because there was no room between the bed, TV, and vanity.
