I booked the cruise after several family members told me of their wonderful cruise experiences. How disappointed I was. Firstly, may I say how good all the staff were, especially the buffet staff. I felt however really let down by the lack of entertainment facilities. There was only one pool table, one table tennis table and one sports court , ( which is supposed to cater for basketball,cricket,tennis, and football ),which for over 3000 passengers is totally inadequate. I am 61 but dont think I am over the hill yet, but the evening entertainment seemed to be for the over 80's . The seas screen was good but the choice of films seemed to be aimed at middle aged women. I found myself watching my own films on my laptop and would have gone mad had I not taken it. Almost everything interesting was chargeable and you could rack up some nasty extra costs from sheer boredom .

Now some good points. The tour team were really good ,especially Sam. Her talks were informative and persuaded me to take more tours which I had not previously planned. All the tours were well organised with knowledgeable guides . The restaurant staff were pleasant , efficient and helpful and the food on the whole was great, BUT, ice cream was extra .
