Embarkation: Since the ship was docked overnight and left at one am, there was no reason to rush to get on so people came to the ship through the day. When we got there we were the only ones in line.
She is an old ship but was maintained wonderfully. I saw people working on her every day. Our cabin was one of only two of its size on the ship and was almost twice the size as the ocean view next door.
We were made to feel welcome right away and treated like Kings by the staff. It was a grand experience. We had 12 people in our group and so I got a lot of perspective of the cruise.
The cabin is very large for a ship, but if you are a light sleeper I would avoid it. There are a lot of background noises that we could not identify. The tender day I went to take a nap and the anchor chain was lifted at the same time, it sounded like it was banging against the cabin walls. We loved the cabin though and are not light sleepers luckily.
