My wife and I have just returned from a 7 night cruise on Thomson Majesty and as some reviews were a bit disjointed I have made this one a little longer to cover many different aspects.

We traveled from Gatwick on a Thomson Boeing 757/200. The aircraft was older than most of the crew and cramped but arrived on time. On arrival at Corfu our baggage arrived in the baggage hall very quickly and before we did. Outside the Thomson tour rep referred us to a cruise desk where we were given our cruise card and labels so that our bags could be delivered to our cabin. Outside we were put on a shuttle coach service to the port. Check in at the port was only to take a payment card details,a photo and passport check. There were 12 people doing the work which only took a few minutes. We were offered a shuttle bus to the ship but walked as it was only 100 yards away. At the ship we were shown to our cabin. Our luggage arrived 10 minutes later. The operation was very slick. When we arrived at Corfu there were 5 Thomson aircraft on the ground but as Thomson have 20+ flights to Corfu on a Friday the service has potential to suffer from a backlog of people.

Our cabin was number 373 and we paid extra for an outside plus cabin, the extra space was worth the extra money. We had 2 x 3 foot single beds, plenty of draw and wardrobe space with coat hangers, a safe (£15 extra) Kettle and tea making facilities, and a small fridge. The beds were comfortable and the cabin was very clean. The shower room was small but had usable soap, shower gel and shampoo in dispensers as well as a working hairdryer and tissues. Water was hot with a good pressure.
