We sailed the Epic for our honeymoon in the Western Mediterranean and it was an incredible trip. This was our first cruise and we thought the stateroom with balcony was great. We had plenty of room and our stateroom attendant provided excellent service. We also spent 5 days in Rome after we got off the ship. The ports were beautiful and we got a real taste of Spain, France and Italy. Our favorite port was Cannes and we did an excursion to Monaco and Monte Carlo, it was beautiful and a fun day. Amalfi Coast by land and sea was also are other favorite excursion. The ship is massive but after a day you get accustomed to where everything is located. The freestyle dining made it effortless to eat especially after a long excursion day. We really enjoyed our nightly ritual grabbing drinks and apps at the Spice H20 pool bar.

We ate in the Manhattan Room the first night and it was good however we really enjoyed the specialty restaurants. There was definitely a difference in the food and service for nominal fees. We ate at Cagney's, Teppanyaki and Shanghai's. All were delicious with great atmospheres to fit the restaurant. We caught a Beatles Cover band, played Bingo, enjoyed the Bliss Ultra lounge for an adult game, had a blast at the piano bar and played bingo! It was all fun and there are countless entertainment options. We would go an listen to the piano player at Shakers before dinner each night and it was fun. The food options are plentiful although we only ate breakfast once but it was good. I really wish the pools were bigger but we had no problem finding space and spent most of our time at the adult only section. We got massages on our sea day it was so relaxing. We basically took advantage of everything the Epic has to offer and I would definitely cruise with Norwegian again.

Beautiful and comfortable stateroom. We had plenty of room and storage. Really took advantage of our balcony and enjoyed the views.
