We have been on 6 other cruises and this was a pleasant holiday. As with all holidays, there were good points and not so good points but nothing that was a complete spoiler.

The transfer from the plane at Palma was quick and efficient. We had been travelling since12.30am on 13th September so we were quite tired. We boarded the ship around 11.30am. Booking in was quick and efficient, the fastest yet I think so full marks for that Thomson. The suitcases arrived at our cabin on deck 9 around 10 minutes after we got in it and we were just having a discovery session of it's facilities when there was a knock at the door and there was a steward with the suitcases. A very welcome and quick service so more plus marks for that.

Food was varied and plentiful and for 2 days we had to abide by the chefs serving us at the buffet because of precautions over Norovirus, which was not present on the ship, but this was the Dream's ways of stopping it together with plenty of gel hand-wash pump stations all over the ship....good idea and everyone used them frequently. After the 'day at sea' on the Monday, normal service resumed and passengers were allowed to serve themselves to their food. Plenty of ice-cold water was available all the time too. Any passengers that needed help to transport their food to their table were helped by waiting stewards. I am 47 and able-bodied and I even had a helping hand with my tray swiftly taken off me, a cold glass of water placed on it and taken to my chosen table. Another plus.

Cabin Review

Cabin Outside Plus

A big enough cabin for 2. Very clean and bathroom space and wardrobe space adequate.
