Cabin: Balcony Stateroom with Shower

This was the first and last time we'll cruise with P & O. Both the hygiene and standard of the Oceana is 'not' good enough. The food in the Plaza was often cold, with cutlery and plates etc not being clean. There were parents with babies in nappies in both of the main deck pools. The pools were closed for two of the hottest days because a child had done their business in one of them. They should have been made to use the children's pool. Our cabin and balcony were dirty on arrival, the speciality restaurant was disgusting, unclean, coffee maker not working, water served from jugs so water not hot and teenagers throwing food at each other!

We complained on board about every issue and got apologies but nothing much changed. We complained after returning, to be told that we'd got a fantastic deal???? I really can't believe P & O's mentality in saying this, we paid for a holiday that we didn't get. We've cruised may times and will now return to Royal Caribbean or Celebrity - they know what cruising is about and have high standards. Thanks for 'NOTHING' P & O - never again!
