We have just returned from NY having sailed on the QM2 from Southampton, spent 4 days in New York and then flew home. Despite having read adverse comments about this ship, we found her to be beautiful. Without exception, the crew in every area were friendly and efficient. The food everywhere was fist class as was the entertainment. We were lucky enough to have The National Symphony Orchestra on board. We have never experienced a live orchestra before and did not think we would like it, but they were excellent, we are now converted. The whole experience was first class, and we intend to do the same in 2015, but in reverse. I think that says it all.
