The topic of conversation after a very few days was the food. Everyone had a comment concering food, service, buffet arrangement, main dining room and so on. The problems during the two weeks were starting with breakfast. We spent one morning breakfast in the main dining room. I was so looking forward to eggs benedict, the first serving was cold asked for another plate and it was served cold. Guess we will be eating the morning meal in the OceanView Buffet. Not once did a waiter serve us coffee, we would have to hail one down to order our bottled water. During breakfast and lunch entree items were served in cute little baskets only to find the food cold and greasy. Some guests complained that at lunch the salad ingredients were in one spot and the dressings somewhere else. Many, many complaints about the main dining room. These comments were coming from Elite members and fellow guests from the UK and beyond. The travelers from the UK were told by staff, that the Americans on board like their food served only warm. ???

Enough said.

The ship was very nice and the travels exciting. Newfoundland was somewhat of a disapointment, guests were very unhappy with the shore excursions mode of travel, school buses.

Our room was just fine. We find that sailing with an OV room allows us to sail more often. :)
