We just returned from a 7 night cruise aboard Jewel of the Seas. This was our first experience with Royal Caribbean and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though the ship is 10+ years old it is beautiful and well laid out. I wanted to take one of the newer mega ships but my husband liked the smaller size and itinerary of this one. It turned out to be perfect for us and our three adult children.

The staff, service and activities were terrific. The food was not remarkable but there was plenty of variety and different themes every day. The cocktails were strong and well mixed and the drink package was a good bargain for us. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and well attended.

The ports of call were excellent and I found boarding and disembarking to be much easier than any I have previously experienced with Carnival cruises. All in all we had a fabulous time and would definitely cruise again on Jewel of the Seas.
