This was the first cruise for my husband and I and we chose Vision based on her short itinerary, ports of call, cost, location, and size. We were blown away! From walking into the terminal to onto the ship was 15 minutes, maximum. We parked at 10:30 and were on the ship before 11:00. Port Everglades has got their stuff together! The ship itself is beautiful, well maintained, and clean. We wandered around for a bit to get our bearings and then headed to the Windjammer for lunch around noon. Lunch was good, if crowded.
Room: We stayed in 7522, deck 7, forward starboard side. 7522 is a balcony cabin and at 195 sq feet inside it was just big enough for me and my 6.5' husband. The bathroom is adequate, the shower minuscule, and the lack of toiletries disappointing, but not a deal breaker. The beds were pushed together to make a "king" size, but nay nay. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch which he said we actually very comfortable. our stateroom attendant was fabulous. Upon learning it was both our first cruise and our anniversary she went our of her way to make it special! On the actual night of our anniversary we found a lovely display of lovebird towel animals, mini snickers, champagne, and a handwritten note from her upon our bed! Very sweet, very caring. No matter haw many times a day we napped or messed things up in the room it was kept neat and tidy.
Food: The Aquarius dining room was our venue of choice every night. The food was great, it came out hot and correct every time. We never lacked for choices and having the ability to take our time and enjoy ourselves went a long way. We ate at the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch most days and it was good and plentiful. We tried the Park Cafe for lunch one day and while tasty, it lacked organization and choices. Room service was nice, if a little slow.

It was perfect for having a read and a drink to start out your morning or sipping champagne in the moonlight. Room was very quiet, no loud noises or banging. It is a connecting room so we occasionally heard the family next door but nothing bad. You WILL feel the movement of the ship here though so bring some meclizine!
