My husband and I (both late 50s) booked this cruise as it went to ports that we hadn't visited previously . We have cruised before but after a third NCL cruise had hoped to find a ship which offered a little more tranquility to enable us to read at the end of the day as the last one appeared to offer entertainment in every nook and cranny and no peace anywhere!
This was the largest liner that we'd been on and we were worried about the sheer size of it when we arrived at port but were pleasantly surprised - the ship felt no larger than previous vessels and we didn't get lost at all! The internal decor was excellent and sumptuous, our cabin was beautifully clean and spacious - with the bonus of being Concierge class with champagne on ice to greet us - a lovely touch.
It was the first time we'd had a balcony and we agreed it was well worth paying the extra for the outside space. We'd only booked it to ensure that if the ship didn't have any quiet areas to sit in we could retreat to it, but we didn't need to - however we will definitely book another one!
