First river cruise.
The ship was immaculate! Clean and classy. The rooms were clean and well put together and all the other areas on the ship were very nice. The staff are AMAZING! The best customer service ever experienced. River cruises are not cheap so you hope the service will live up to the cost - and it does. The staff are courteous, friendly and professional. These guys welcome you with a smile all the time. The receptionist on board (Blasich (sp?)) is a sweetheart!
The food was fine. It was not gourmet but not bad. Didn't stop us from eating! There is plenty of food throughout the day so you will never be hungry. 24 hr coffee machines and cookies out all the time. There are several selections for breakfast as well as a buffet. Same with lunch. Dinner is sit down. There are plenty of tables for 2 if you don't want to join the bigger tables. Wine and beer were free throughout lunch and dinner.
Cabin Review
We booked a suite - and we were VERY glad that we did. The room was great and the bathroom a great size. You don't spend that much time in your room but I'm still glad we had it since the size really brought forward the luxury. Near the front of the ship but very quiet.
