Just returned from a 5 night cruise stopping in Key West and Cozumel and wanted to say, be careful where your stateroom is located! I booked this last minute and the ship was nearly sold out, so accepted Cabin #3652. I knew it was under the dining room and had read somewhere that the dining room hours shouldn't interfere with your sleep. Not so. This was located under the Kitchen, not the dining room and I can say that based on the metallic clanging and screeching starting at 5:15 a.m. daily. It sounded like a haunted house at an amusement park but it wasn't amusing at 5 a.m. This morning, before disembarkation, we had another very odd noise/buzz/bell spaced 10 minutes apart! Continually! The cabin itself was very nice, the bed was very comfortable (compared to the MSC Davina I sailed on this past January, which had a bed that felt like sleeping on a wooden board, awful). The storage, room and bathroom size were sufficient for the two of us and the window was enough to let in light and sunshine, which is a requirement of mine.

We were in the midst of a thunder and lightening storm one evening during dinner and it made a beautiful sound and light show, but we didn't feel it at all, so kudos to the stabilizers, the ship never really rocked!

The entertainment was plentiful and mostly good, but I had looked forward to the Broadway production and was hugely disappointed when the old Broadway musicals had been "changed up" and nearly unrecognizable (West Side Story). There were enough audience members who knew the original songs and am sure many others found it disappointing and LOUD. The piano bar was disappointing too. The man who sang and played the piano wasn't a good singer at all and Anna, who was a fabulous pianist, played in such a way that I couldn't sing along. I love to sing along at a piano bar and need no provocation to do it, but this was a little strange, leaving musical notes out and just running right through a song, I like it as originally written!
