We flew to Seattle to catch the Miracle's final Alaskan voyage for the season (and maybe ever) the day of the cruise since we live in CA. Paid for the ship transfers from the airport to the port as it did not look like there was a very clean and easy way to get there with rapid transit. We checked our bags at the check-in counter for the bus at the airport and the next time we saw them was in front of our cabin door a few hours later. A very relaxing start to a what would be a very relaxing cruise.

I'm a fan of the Faster to the Fun (FTTF) option Carnival offers and was happy to have it as we walked right to an empty check in counter with the Diamond and Platinum folks. My guy (first time cruiser) thought it was a miracle how we breezed past the long lines. I would say from entering the port to being on the ship was a maximum of 15 minutes.

Our 1st floor window cabin was ready on our arrival and we stopped by to freshen up before we headed up to meet some friends who had traveled from PA for the cruise. The room was plenty large for two people with lots of storage space. The room was clean but the bathroom felt a bit dated. We had no idea what was awaiting us in the Bacchus dining room! The decor is over-the-top there!!
