We enjoyed our cruise to Norway but not as much as we thought we would after reading all the excellent reviews of the ship. We have been on many cruises previously but never before with Celebrity and after reading so many glowing reports we were really looking forward to this cruise.

First the good bit. Our balcony cabin was the best we have ever stayed in on any of our previous cruises with a roomy bathroom with a superb shower and plenty of storage space. The food in the main restaurant was either very good or just ok, apart from breakfast which I was very disappointed with. Lukewarm bacon with soggy toast. There was a good variety of choice for lunch but sadly a lack of butter which always seemed in very short supply. I did bring this to the attention of one of the managers in the self service restaurant one lunchtime but when he could not find any either, he just walked away and left me to carry on looking on my own at which stage I finally gave up in disgust. We did try three of the speciality restaurants, Tuscan Grill, Murano and Qsine, and found the food in all three to be very good, especially Murano.

The shows in the theatre were good, although not as good as P&O Ventura, and having got a drinks package in with our cruise price we had no complaints about the service in the bars. We went on several of the ship's shore excursions which were also enjoyable although quite expensive.
