A pure money grab. $30 to snorkel? Seriously? $35 for playing on their water toys? That should be included in the $2500 we already paid. We would have done a dive but it was booked. The "BBQ" was hotdogs and chips with 100 people in line. Get back on the ship and eat that slop instead. That said, the water is spectacular and 300 yards from shore it is ankle deep. We say a small shark, a starfish, conch, and a bunch of fish in the shallow water.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Good port. We ziplined. It was good for first timers, but a little boring for others. Phillipsburg is a cool place to hang out. We met some locals and had a good authentic lunch. Nice day.

St. Maarten

Decent tour, we went upon Mother in law's suggestion. The boat ride was nice and it included a nice historical and geographical narration. Not much to see on St. John, but there were a lot of chickens running around and we saw a wild donkey. My son loved that. Back on St. Thomas there is just basic crappy shopping, but there are better prices around in the Caribbean, such as St. Martin.

Smaller room that the same on Carnival, but we don't care because we only sleep, shower, and change clothes there. It was nice and dark and let us sleep in.

The bottom line is this: if you have children, if you like to have fun, if you like options of things to do throughout the day with no extra cost, then do not go on this cruise.I love trying new food and this cruise there were a few things that were very good, but mostly the main dining room fell short.
