We got this cruise free for booking on the Getaway in May and I was worried the ship would be rundown but it certainly was not. The Sky is actually a very nice ship, we never felt like we were on a smaller ship because it never felt crowded. Getting on was a breeze as well as getting off upon return. I think it may have taken 5 mins after we walked into the terminal before we were at our car. Food was very good our son has allergies and they took excellent care of him (we ordered meals in advance each day). I would say the only areas lacking on this boat are the pool area (very small and outdated compared to what we are used to however we never really used the pool because we were in port each day. However there are no slides and the kids wadding pool on the bow was mostly used by adults. The casino is a decent size but VERY smokey inside if that bothers you then you will have problems in there.

Overall the ship is in excellent shape for its age, atrium is nice there are plenty of elevators as well. Staff for the most part seemed to be very pleasent and did their jobs well. We never really saw our cabin attendant unless he was out vacuuming the hall. Room was pretty nice we were in the "Mystery Cabin" 0001A yes it exists!! However a lot of the crew does not know that, they looked puzzled when we gave them our room #. Also the phone number is 00000 and for some reason we got a couple of late night calls requesting room service!! This room is bigger then the other balcony staterooms by a little bit but the bathroom is smaller and has no room around the sink or anywhere else in there to put anything down. Overall it was a great time and although I was sure before going on I wouldnt say this but I would go on this ship again for a 3 day cruise.

Ok so this room DOES exist!!! We were a little worried about it when we saw this room was assigned to us, there are pros and cons so read on. First this room is a little bigger then all of the other standard balcony rooms onboard. It was added at a latter date I guess but the one big difference is the bathroom. It is smaller and does not have any room around the sink to set down anything. When you open the door there is a sink and no counter around it at all! There is a wall vanity with a little storage behind the mirrors but thats it. The shower is also smaller the shower curtain was clinging to my back the whole time I was in there and the toilet is almost in the shower with you!! There are towel racks which are overflowing with the towels, hand towels and wash clothes because there is no other place to put them. You literally have to use the toilet to set something down unless you want to put it on the floor! That said the overall room is bigger then the others, because of the bathroom layout and the door comes out more into the hall giving you a little extra space. So if you can deal with the bathroom then you will have a little more overall space. Its a personal preference I guess, but no matter what it was fine for a 3 day cruise, not much noise at all and the elevators are close. I am basically writing this because there were no reviews of this cabin which made us worry even more, if you book it dont worry its really there and not too bad of a cabin for a 3 or 4 day.
