So my friends and I just came back from one of the best vacations I've ever had in my life. This was only my fourth cruise but it definitely made up for the HORRIBLE experience on my last cruise on Liberty. Jewel was beautiful and this specific class of ships was new to me. While we were a bit nervous about not having anything to do on a smaller ship with such a young crowd we still booked due to the amazing itinerary. The boat panned out to be more than we could ever hope for. So here we go...

Day 1...Embarkation and San Juan

We arrived around 1:30pm. Embarkation was a breeze. Probably about 10 or 15 minutes at most. Once on board straight to purchase our premium beverage package and then straight to the rooms. Our rooms were ready and what an amazing room. We had aft balconies on the 8th floor and it is going to be difficult for us to be anywhere else from now on. The views were amazing. The room was large and spacious and the balcony was even bigger! I highly recommend these rooms! Also, our room attendant Danielle was by far the BEST room attendant i've come across on sea or land. She was amazing and truly set up the expectation for us to fall for each one of the ladies and gentlemen working this ship throughout our vacation. The rest of the day went fine, muster and nightfall brought our first dinner. I wish we would have been at one of the main seatings as being thrown around the My Time Dining room was kinda less than ideal but not the biggest problem in the world. Sail off was just great. I love leaving San Juan at night seeing the Fort all lit up. Also, I did not make it to the club but my party went to Vortex every night and apparently lit up the dance floor. They only had rave things to say.
