It was our first cruise with MSC. My sister, her friend and I traveled to Miami for birthday celebrations on board ship. We booked our cruise on line.

The embarkation process was smooth and efficient. We were surprised to be allowed to board the ship so early. 12:45. We had a chance to walk the entire ship and explore everything. The ship is absolutely beautiful! Loved it. My experience with the crew was over the top. They were helpful and polite. Their ability to speak so many languages was astounding. Our balcony cabin was clean and neat and the bed and pillows were sooooo comfortable! Dining room wait staff was friendly and helpful. Service was impeccable. The nightly shows were marvelous. Entertaining and professionally done. Loved the Opera! The excursions were great. I found the tender experience and port experience to be wonderful. Staff helpful and kind. Loved our excursions. The preferred excursion staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

The website was difficult to understand. Several times I had to call for assistance. We were unsure whether we had all the documents, so printed everything, just in case. Customer assistance via the phone was TERRIBLE. We received an email saying we could book another week. We called SIX times to try to do that. Although the people were nice, we NEVER were able to book the second week. Not only did the staff not seem to know about the invitations, they were never able to book the second week for us, telling us they would call us back the same day. Over a period of 5 days, multiple calls, and never a call back or ability to book, we finally gave up.

Cabin Review

Cabin 10

The room was clean and neat. Balcony was nice, and we opened it to share with my sister in the cabin next door. Storage was bare minimum for two women! Our cabin was the smallest balcony cabin we had ever had. No couch, no chairs, nowhere to sit and barely room to move around the bed. Many cabins we did see had nice large rooms with couches or chairs. Not ours. We asked those occupants about their fares, and we had paid more than they had!
