Overall we had a great time. The embarkation process itself once inside the building was great. With priority check-in it's always a lot easier. The problem with the embarkation process is outside of the terminal for passenger drop-off and pick-up. There is nowhere for cars to stop and unload or load so basically your on the street trying to hurry because your blocking one lane of traffic. It took us about 20 minutes to just get to a point where I could drop off our luggage then take the rental car back to the airport. Leaving was a little better because they at least have a lane for taxi's to come up but it's not very organized so it's kinda like people trying to bargain there way into a cab. The employee that was helping us took us to four different cabs that other employees said something to her and we moved on to the next one, didn't take very long just not real organized.

The staff on the ship was really good. We few problems with our stateroom that were fixed right away and one that couldn't be fixed. After asking for an update multiple times they finally told me it couldn't be fixed but refunded me a portion of the cruise fare and gave us a voucher a little off of another cruise. I was very happy with that resolution.

Food was about the same as every other carnival ship we have been on. We use the dinning room most nights and buffet's for breakfast. I have no complaints about the food. The staff was really good and most of the times had the kids coke on the table by the time we got there. If not they showed up before we had to ask for them. Always gave us recommendations and even one night told us something we shouldn't get!

Great stewards for this cruise. We typically book the suites for the extra room and the tub. The steward gave us no problems when my wife ask if they could fold the couch back up each day so we could use it as a couch. With it out as a bed you loose a lot of that extra room to move around during the day. With four of us I like the extra room.
