We have not been on a large ship cruise in several years. We have done several river cruises which are intimate and provide a very different experience.

As we had to be in the LA area visiting friends and family, this seemed like a good way to spend some extra time and see some California spots we had not been to before.

We were able to board earlier then anticipated which gave us time to unpack, enjoy lunch and not be hurried before the Muster drill and dinner. Read more
