Smoking: We have been on 4 cruises so cruising is not new to us. In 2013, Royal Caribbean made some changes to their smoking policy and we thought that it would be a wonderful cruise for us avid non-smokers. Instead, we were completely smoked out!!! People smoking on balconies - nobody said anything. People smoking on the starboard side of the ship - nobody said anything. Take a stroll on Promenade deck 5? - well only if you want to be smoked out. The Casino is in the middle of the ship and of course there is smoking there - as a result All Indoor Areas (except the main dining room and spa) smelled like smoke. There were NO nonsmoking signs anywhere. Paid more for a balcony that I couldn't use due to smoking! If you are a non-smoker, do not be fooled into believing that with their revised smoking policy that your desire to breathe clean sea air will occur anywhere - it just won't.

Food: Main Dining Room food and service were excellent. We were totally pleased every time we ate here. Park Café - didn't really find out about this 'till later in the cruise - it was really good. They make Panini's and have other salads and fresh fruits. Windjammer - Horrible!!!! I'm not kidding, just don't go there! Enough bad reviews on cruise critic about how bad it is. Just don't eat at Windjammer!!!!

Beverages: The Coffee is Extremely Strong - stronger than Starbucks. If you like it strong, you will probably like it. They did not have real half and half or milk to add to your coffee at the beverage stations - just that fake stuff that tastes nasty. Lemonade is totally watered down as is the tea.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Balcony

Cabin JS

Large stateroom with balcony. Balcony had 2 chairs and a table - with lots of room leftover for us to store our luggage outside. The sliding glass door was extremely difficult to open. Had a full tub/shower combo. Lots of storage space for clothes and lots of bathroom storage too. Room had a coffee maker and hairdryer. 2 twin beds that convert to a king, plus a sleeper sofa. Enough electrical outlets to serve our needs. Did not hear noise above or next to us ever.
