Thomson Majesty Cruise October 2014

Do you fill in the evaluation questionnaire or CQS on Thomson Cruises, Flights or Holidays? Did you realise the data you provide on these is sold to third parties, thus swelling the TUI profits and sharing your personal likes and dislikes. Do you really want them to share details of your Banking habits, the newspapers you read and the date of your house insurance renewal, details about your mobile phone accounts and son? All well and good if you do not mind the unsolicited emails, mobile calls and mail drops that will follow when you disclose your email address and mobile number. Do you read the small print on the questionnaire? A doubtful activity if you are British as we are not really good at checking out our rights and obligations. You do not have to supply the personal data, but will you be entered in their prize draw, which they try to use as an enticement?

Such a pity really, as we are just back from a one week cruise on “Thomson Majesty" around the coast of Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro which we wanted to rate highly. Majesty is comfortable, clean, has obviously undergone a refit of the deck 10 bow buffet area. We will be careful about booking a cabin next time as some are rather small (deck 7 for us in future). We moaned about the size and were moved straight away.

Cabin Review

Cabin Too Small

Majesty's cabins are mostly small when compared to Dream for instance.
