We sailed on the Epic, right after a 12 day cruise on the Celebrity Infinity, also doing a Mediterranean itinerary. So fair or not, this review suffers in comparison. The infinity was way more enjoyable.

This was our third NCL cruise, and we hope to never do another. We were in an aft cabin, our usual and favorite spot. We had the ultimate UDP, so ate in specialty restaurants.

Cabin- the cabin was roomy enough with plenty of storage. There is a nice reading light next to the bed, an outlet over the counter next to the bed (good for my CPAP) and coffee and tea set up. However there was a constant roar from from the aft engines and a shuddering of the entire cabin when entering a port. We were on the ninth deck. This made it less pleasant to sit on the balcony. And woke you up frequent mornings as you entered port. Not a deal breaker, but speaks against having an aft cabin on this ship. Also the mattress was curved on both the bottom and the top, which made it difficult for my 6 foot 2 husband. His feet hung off the bottom. Read more
