My wife and I have been on the 3 day Mexico cruise 4 or 5 times with Carnival. We decided to try Princess since they just entered this market. Big mistake!

The ship was nice on the inside, but you could tell the outside/metal areas of the ship were very tired. There are places on the deck that flex when you walk. Our cabin E414 was nice and I recommend it to anyone booking the obstructed ocean view category. There is a boat outside the window, but it does not block your view of the ocean.

The food was very average and the employees on the ship were lethargic. They all seemed like they didn't want to be there and could care less if the passengers were happy. It was so bad that my wife and I actually got annoyed with the complacency they had. It was EVERYWHERE! Even Carnival employees acknowledge you as they walked by. That didn't happen on Golden Princess.

Cabin Review

Cabin E

Room was partially obstructed but was situated between the boats well enough that you can see straight out to the ocean. Highly recommend for anyone booking an obstructed view room.
