I have previously cruised with P&O once before but that was as a teen so I probably had different expectations to what I have now. I had read lots of the reviews on here and wasn't sure as to what to expect thanks to the amount of negative reviews and I also heard that there was norovirus on the previous cruise.

The cruise was definitely a lot better than the reviews I had read. Embarkation was very smooth and fast. The entertainment was without a doubt fantastic. The food was superb, and our waiter was a highlight of our holiday. Yes, we were by far one of the youngest on the cruise (group of earlier 20 year olds, as apposed to the 60/70 year olds) but I don't see how people can say that this is a bad thing as it didn't affect our holiday at all as the entertainment would suit any ages really.

The only slight annoyance was that for the first 3 days, the staff could have been a bit more polite as they took the norovirus very seriously and were very insistent on not touching cutlery etc, but I suppose id rather have staff take norovirus seriously instead of not bothering to do anything.
