If I hadn't already been on a Carnival cruise and the trip on the MSC Poesia had been my first cruise, I wouldn't consider going on another. The embarkation was queue after queue and then put into a holding area for what seemed like an eternity. There appeared to be no co-ordination and people were getting restless at the amount of time it was taking to process the passengers.

Once aboard ship, we had a surprise in the cabin bathroom, when we found the previous guests soap bar in the shower and the floor had not been cleaned. Throughout the cruise the bathroom floor remained unwashed and don't get me started on the toilet brush!!

The bed had holes in the valance, pillows that felt like they contained golf balls and it took two days to receive the requested extra pillows. Read more
