We cruised from Lisbon to Miami, supposedly via Madeira, The Canary Islands, Dakar, Cape Verde Islands, three Caribbean islands, and Puerto Rico to Miami.

We missed Dakar (presumably due to Ebola although no-one ever said anything!), we missed Cape Verde as we had to return to the Canaries to offload sick/injured passengers, and we missed St Barts due to rough weather. The three places highest on my Bucket List! Not the fault of Regent I know, but disappointing nevertheless and there was really no sense that Regent cared much about making the changes.

The ship was good... the suite was fine and the crew service very good. The food was excellent (except the coffee.... why can't Americans make decent coffee?) and the entertainment good (not exceptional). I thought that the daily lectures were poor... old fashioned slides and powerpoint presentations about 'schoolchildren' topics. The TV channels in the suites were average .. the nautical info didn't fit onto the screen, the background music choice poor and limited if you wanted just some music in the suite, the TV show repeats were a choice of two! For one leg of the cruise we were at sea for nine days and this was not good enough. Good film range though was available.
