As always, I’ll try to make my review as comprehensive to help as many readers as possible.
Embarkation – very smooth. We arrived in Brooklyn by 1:00 and lines were short and personal efficient.
Cabins – space is efficient, as on most cruise ships. I appreciate the fact that you can remove the hangers, (something Cunard doesn’t have). The cabins have a large flat-screen TV hung on a wall opposite the bed (great idea). They offered a wealth of movies and TV shows, which you could stop and restart like a DVR. Our cabin steward, Isidro, was extremely professional and a gentleman. Some downsides include the fact that the shower has pumps used for shampoo and body soap. The ship is missing drawer space above the bed, which is found on many other ships. The balconies are extremely small, barely big enough for two chairs. We used the balconies mainly to dry clothing.
