Cabin: The Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Balcony

We got a fantastic deal on a Haven courtyard penthouse, but I would never have paid list price for that caliber ship. The accommodations and service were first-rate. The Haven restaurant was lovely - excellent service, good food. Our cabin was immaculate and quite spacious.

The rest of the ship was downscale - very crowded and noisy, especially the pool area. The Haven had a private pool area with a retractable dome, a very small pool, two large hot-tubs and more than ample lounge chairs.

We were disappointed in the entertainment. Cirque Dreams at $40 ($30 the first night) was a ripoff - you can see a good 'cirque' show for free on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity and have a much better dinner than what we were served. I really disliked seeing performers in the Atrium because of the crowds, inadequate seating, poor sight lines and constant chatter of guests 'passing thru'. Performances by Fire & Ice and Emily & Arvin were much more enjoyable in the theater.

Cabin H5

Lovely cabin, a little cramped. Small balcony, large bathroom with tub.
