The Carnival Triumph has had some rough times, but it still offers a great experience for just about anyone at any age. From activities to amenities, food options to entertainment, there is a lot going on here.

Cabin:

We chose an interior cabin on Deck 2 for 2 reasons: great pricing and a chance to see if the cabin really makes a difference in our enjoyment of the cruise. Even after refurbishment a few years ago, the cabins are already looking slightly worn and dated, although scrupulously clean and tidy. Beds and bedding are quite comfortable. Our cabin steward learned our schedule quickly. We asked for ice in the ice bucket, and it was always there. Requests for extra towels were accommodated graciously. We liked the coziness of the cabin and recommend a nightlight as those interior cabins are DARK at night. If you don't need to spend time relaxing in your cabin, an interior will save you money. If you like to sit and watch the water go by, then you will want a window and/or balcony. The hairdryer is the worst ever, so if you really need to use one, bring your own. There are no outlets in the bathroom, so be prepared to do your hair in the room. Read more
