Joined the ship after being told not to board at time issued because the ship was being disinfected due to Norovirus on previous cruise. We found the ship spotless the crew did all they could to ensure passengers washed hands before dining and on re-boarding the ship we were asked to sterilise hands and proceed to cabin to wash them again. May I say that most people did as asked but a number were seen by myself to avoid the units on the quay and then proceed directly to the Plaza complete with shopping to have lunch. If they refuse to abide by the request what can the rest of us do.
The entertainment was excellent with the odd exception, we do think Colin (fingers) Henry should now stick to the piano as he looked at one point as if he could not get his breath while telling his (anecdotes) he may be a good pianist but is past his best now. The headliners were fantastic how they keep on the go is amazing.
Breakfast in the main dining room was hit and miss as the waiters kept getting them wrong, and the choice of cold breakfast in the Plaza was not good. The main restaurant menus were good although I do think standards may just be dropping a little.
