This was beyond our expectations. We have been on ocean cruises in the past, and expected tis to be similar. The only similarity is water! This was so enjoyable...the ship was spotless, the crew couldn't do enough for you, the food was delicious and abundant, the tours were well planned and the entertainment on board was wonderful. If we could do this again next week, I'd start packing.

The only negative thing we encountered was that we paid extra for a room with a balcony and were not able to use it 7 days of the 14 day cruise. The ballast drains were adjacent to our balcony and when water was pumped out the drain it runs onto the balcony floor. There are floor drains on the balconies on either side of ours, but ours seemed to be the low spot so the water pooled there and had no where to drain. Some days the water was an inch deep, Our cabin steward tried her best to dry it, but it seemed there was no vacuum or pumping equipment available to her. Cabin towels were not adequate to handle the amount of water present.

That being said...the location of the room, from the standpoint of convenience, was great.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

The cabin is small but very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. There is plenty of storage space in the hanging closet as well as shelves and drawers aplenty. The bathroom is well laid out with heated floors and luxurious towel and amenities. The only negative thing we encountered was that we paid extra for a room with a balcony and were not able to use it 7 days of the 14 day cruise.
