The NOS was renovated this year, and the ship is beautiful. The entertainment was quite good. Plenty of live music for listening and dancing. Production shows in the theater were top notch. The headliner shows were entertaining. And the Ice Skating Show was spectacular.

Service in the main dining room was very good and the food was good enough. Food in the Windjammer was good. We ate at the "Chops Grill" and the food and service there were excellent. All of the ship's crew we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly, and the ship was kept clean and orderly.

In Cozumel, we spent the day at the El Cid resort (just a couple hundred feet outside the port entrance). El Cid has two different day passes: At $20 US you have access to the beach, pool and a $12 food & drink credit. At $48 US you have unlimited drinks & food (but not breakfast) and pool, beach and snorkel equipment. The "beach" is man-made (but okay) with a retaining wall holding imported sand. The main view from the beach was the NOS.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Our Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom was refurbished and quite nice.and comfortable. We rarely book a balcony as we spend little time in the stateroom; we usually book an outside stateroom with window only, but were upgraded to a balcony. Our room steward was excellent.
