Our cruise had a few problems, although not all the blame was RCs.

The ship was late into port due to windy weather and when we arrived at 11am the port was in chaos, with disembarking passengers still queueing on board. We waited nearly two hours in line to embark. Our cases arrived about 9pm.

We found that about 2000 of the passengers were Harley Davidson bikers there for a rally. This caused a few problems for us as they did tend to take over the bars and public areas, which was a bit intimidating, and many of the onboard activities seemed to be to geared towards them. On occasion some of the public areas were closed for their private use, eg one evening the whole of the pool deck was shut to other passengers. We were disappointed that there was only one show time per evening due to biker activities, as on previous cruises all our family group were able to go to the shows by splitting babysitting duties and this wasn't possible this time. Other issues were unruly activities such as belly flop and sexy biker competitions, and unsuitable clothing. There was no respect for formal nights and our party in evening dress were in the minority. Some children's activities were curtailed. This cruise was quite different from previous ones and if this is not appropriate for your family group you need to check before booking.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin G

Cabin was fine and as expected. Connecting door to family next door. We had the beds made up separately which made more space than the double next door. Was not as clean as expected, possibly due to quick turnaround, but was dusted later in the week.
