First of, I knew this cruise would have older passengers and I was fine with that and I was travelling alone. I have met some very nice passengers (and a few young ones) on the cruise but I also met and observed many rude passengers, who were very rude towards other guests, staff and against everything. I don't have a sense of entitlement as some of fellow passengers I observed....I will leave the comments about the passengers to that.

The ship! I was not too sure what to expect since I have never been on that class of ships, I have been on most of RCI classes tho. I was somewhat impress about the ship in some ways, I was expecting the ship to be run down but it was not the case. Yes, there are signs of wear and tear but no more than other ships. I like the fact it was easy to get around and easy to socialize. The ship is nice. Not many activities for younger persons but that's to be expected since this ship does mainly longer cruises etc. The staff was great. I did not find unfriendly staff on the ship (sorry, one of the cashier at the casino was not overly friendly, which I rarely visit). The bar staff at the Schooner bar, where I was hanging out lots, was very friendly, remembered what I was drinking and very pleasant to chat with. The dining room was really nice as well. I like set dining and was on the late time. The serving staff was very friendly and helpful. My issue with the dining is that we NEVER saw the supervisor, we had our waiter and assistant waiter but their boss NEVER came to say hi, but we still have to tip that person... that was a bit disappointing and surprising. I participated in 2 chef's table and I LOVED It. I will do it again on my next cruise. I also ate at Izumi for the first time and I truly enjoyed the experience. The ship had set up a Champagne lunch as well and, again I participated in that opportunity and it was very worth it. I have no complaints about the speciality restaurants on this ship, or the staff.

Cabins were cleaned, staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Always willing to please.

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin L

It was my first time in 7 cruises that I used an inside cabin, having always had balcony staterooms and even concierge staterooms (Celebrity) and I was worry a bit but my worries were misplaced. The cabin was full of storage room, it was clean and adequate. The last few days there was some weird noise anytime of the day and I am still not sure where it was coming from. There is not much noise reduction tho in this cabin since I could hear a neighbour coughing all the time.....
