I booked my first cruise to Portuguese islands for 4 nights on 10th Nov from Durban. The embarkation and disembarkation were quick and efficient everything in between was a complete disaster.
3 mornings we called reception for wheel chair to be delivered in front of our room, which was confirmed to us, but wheel chair has never arrived.
Reception staff was not very professional, no smile, providing confusing information, keeping my passport for 24 hours with them. Staff is speaking their native language in front of guests, which does not leave a good impression, English language shall be spoken all the time when facing guest /fortunately i speak Italian so i was fully in picture so I knew what was happening/. I was as well informed by the same staff that Reception cannot fulfil all requests and complains as they have huge number of guests. Is this called hospitality?
