My wife and I took our second cruise on Celebrity. Our first was to the Mediterranean and our second was to Eastern Caribbean.

My wife is from Indonesia so we are familiar with traveling on many islands. We chose Celebrity for the well know service as well as great Eastern Caribbean itinerary.

Each island is physically beautiful and if you are just looking to get to warm weather, you will not be disappointed with the calming breezes and beautiful beaches. Unfortunately, many of the Caribbean Islands are politically corrupt and have decided to rely 100% on tourism rather than working hard to make their economies somewhat diverse (especially, Barbados, St. Lucia, and Antigua). These islands have even diminished their local artistic talent and unique products are now difficult to find. Therefore, their economies have weakened and entering their islands is met with constant harassment from peddlers. The only thing left is Rum, beaches and imported knick knacks. Pricing has gone up so the harassment is not even worth putting up with since travel options are so plentiful.

Cabin A1

Room location and quality were good. Room staff was excellent. Spa services inadequate.
