As the parent company of Celebrity & Azamara, I was expecting a little bit higher quality & service. I would rank it as comparable & perhaps a nudge above Princess Cruise Lines. I will say that I have never seen as many repeat cruisers that measured their cruises in the dozens of RCL cruises. Gold, Diamond, & Platinum members predominated this cruise; perhaps I am too judgemental.
Practically everyone obtained a bargain price, as I did, but I cannot deny that it represented good value with interiors going for 40.00/day. Travelling single, I had to pay 80 with no concessions/extras which I somewhat begrudgingly paid. Nonetheless I concede it was still good value.
The area which mainly disapointed was the Main Dining Room starting with Maitre D' who greeted, directed, & often escorted, they did this while holding on dearly to their precious walkie-talkies conversing & squaking incessantly. Is this a Dining Room or was this a fancy A&W? The staff was either pretty good or completely disinterested.
Adequate, but zero amenities in bathroom. Toilet paper was thin & rough, like in public washrooms. The soap was marginally better. I perfer "Charmin" instead of towel animals.
